Ashley Gonzalez is a tap dance performer, choreographer, and instructor based in Minnesota. She trained under the direction of Chloe Arnold, Sarah Reich, Aaron Williams, and other notable tap artists. Ashley graduated from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul with a double major in music with a vocal emphasis and business administration.
Ashley currently performs and tours as a tap dance company member of Rhythm Street Movement with original shows such as ‘Who Brought the Humbug’ and ‘Storyboard.’ She also performs with musical groups primarily based in the Twin Cities: Dawson Redenius Septet, Travis Anderson Trio, etc. Some of her other past performances include the 2018 Governor’s Ball Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, the 2018 MLBA All Star Pre Party Concert in Washington DC, and she has also received awards in competitions for her tap performances in Seoul, South Korea and Offenburg, Germany. Ashley was featured in the book Dance Across the USA by Jonathon Givens.
